Not sure if the genetics are dying or slow, I'm at 15 days post-inoculation of grain, and it's moving slower than any other variant I've ever grown. Like slower than my APE grain jars that were inoculated from spore syringes at the same time... Humidity & temp controlled enclosure, I've been growing for years; I am familiar with how to colonize grains. I'll hold off another 2 weeks, but this is definitely the slowest growing LC I've ever used, ever. Not gonna dog it at 1 star as I haven't completed the grow. I've had goldmember before and they are wonderfully potent & happy cubes. Hoping it all pans out over the next 2 weeks. Being at 20% colonization after 15 days in perfect environmental conditions worries me.

Chose Goldmember LC after hearing rave reviews from friends. Chose Planetspores after hearing rave reviews over @ the Shroomery forums. Flow hood, still air box, the works. I have it all in a homebrewed lab I've been building. I used 3mL of LC per 1lb bag of rye/grain spawn same as I always have. I'll hold off another 2 weeks, but this is definitely the slowest growing LC I've ever used, ever. Bonus star for stupid fast shipping, excellent updates along the way, packaging was perfect. Substrate looks at field capacity, though the grains were bone dry, almost too dry. I didn't bother adding moisture to the grains before injection assuming the guys who packaged this know their stuff.

Looks like a syringe full of healthy spores, introduced to agar and great start to mycelium with no contamination
