Blue Magnolia Rust Mushroom History

In 2011 a rare mushroom species was found growing in a pile of horse dung in Mississippi, United States by two mycologists named Mycotek and Doc. 

Using the wild mushroom spores they collected from the horse ranch, Doc and Mycotek began their lab work, culturing and isolating the wild spores. Eventually the two had created an entirely new magic mushroom strain. They named it Blue Magnolia Rust, after the rust colored speckles found on the shrooms cap.

Growing Blue Magnolia Rust Magic Mushrooms

Blue Magnolia Rust psychedelic mushrooms prefer subtropical environments with nutrient enriched substrate. Theoretically these mushrooms can grow in a wide range of substrates but will greatly benefit from added nutrients. The only challenge to growing these rare fungi are its vulnerabilities to contamination. Because Blue Magnolia Rust is a lab made mushroom, it lacks some of the defensive properties wild mushrooms carry. Take extra caution with cleanliness when cultivating this shroom and you should be golden.

Appearance of the Blue Magnolia Rust Strain

As the Blue Magnolia Rusts name suggests its caps are shades of blue and brown and display noticeable speckles of rust. Its stems are relatively thick and loaded with sizable amounts of psilocybin. 

When cultivated in the right environment Blue Magnolia Rusts should produce dense flushes of thick mushrooms, their lack in fruiting numbers is made up for by the density of its stems.

Psychedelic Effects of Blue Magnolia Rusts

The mushroom community widely considers Penis Envy mushrooms to be one of the strongest Psilocybe Cubensis varieties. However some have suggested the Blue Magnolia Rust strain to be on par with Penis Envy Mushrooms.

For this reason Blue Magnolia Rusts are not recommended for your first tripping session. Reports have shown this strains ability to produce intense visual stimulation through hallucinations and also allowing for a magical spiritual journey.

Experiences may vary from person to person, and can depend on many factors such as; diet, metabolism, weight, state of mind, and your atmosphere. Effects of this potent fungi could be felt anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours after eating them.
