Jack Frost is a visually striking hybrid of Psilocybe cubensis, created by crossing Albino Penis Envy (APE) with True Albino Teacher (TAT). It’s best known for its ghostly appearance, featuring bright white caps, thick stems, and gills that often develop deep blue hues as they mature. The strain has a dense, robust structure and is sometimes noted for producing low spore counts. Regarded as a specialty variety, Jack Frost is popular among growers for its unique look and steady, resilient growth, though it may colonize more slowly than other cubensis strains.

In the wild Jack Frost thrives in subtropical high humidity environments with nutrient rich soils.
